Yvette joined Rashid and Co Solicitors in February 2014 and is a qualified Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer. She has extensive knowledge encompassing both private and public law matters. She has successfully represented parents and relatives involved in contentious care and adoption proceedings against a local authority, which is where her expertise is.

Due to her empathetic approach and knowledge she is often asked to represent vulnerable clients. As such, she has extensive experience working on sensitive cases involving forced marriage, emotional abuse, sexual abuse allegations, radicalism, murder and FGM.
